Frequently asked questions.
Do you take my insurance?
Partin Physical Therapy is an out-of-network provider.
This allows us to deliver the highest level of personalized care without the restrictions often imposed by insurance companies. By operating independently, we’re able to spend more time with each patient, tailor treatment plans to your unique needs, and prioritize your long-term recovery.
Don’t let that scare you, we’re happy to provide a detailed receipt (superbill) that you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement.
To make care more accessible, we offer straightforward flat-rate pricing as well as discounted package options—ideal for those requiring ongoing treatment. We also accept Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) for your convenience.
Do I need a referRAl from my physician?
No referral is needed initially. In the state of Oklahoma, you can see a physical therapist without a physician's referral for up to 30 days. After that period, a referral may be required to continue treatment.
what do I wear to my appointment?
We recommend wearing loose-fitting, comfortable clothing—similar to what you’d wear to the gym or a workout session. This allows for easy movement and ensures your physical therapist can assess and treat you effectively.
WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU TAKE?
We accept a variety of convenient payment methods, including Health Savings Accounts (HSA), Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), cash, credit cards, checks, and Venmo. Our goal is to make the payment process as seamless and flexible as possible for you.
HOW OFTEN WILL I NEED TO COME VISIT?
Each patient’s needs are unique, but in general, you can expect to start with one—occasionally two—sessions per week. As you make progress, we’ll gradually reduce the frequency to biweekly visits, tailoring the schedule to support your recovery and long-term independence.
What happens at my first appointment?
Your first visit at Partin Physical Therapy will be a comprehensive, 60-minute one-on-one session. We’ll begin with an in-depth conversation about your medical history, current concerns, and the underlying reasons driving your need for recovery. This is your time to be heard—and our time to fully understand your goals.
You’ll then go through a detailed movement assessment to identify limitations or contributing factors related to your pain or injury. Based on this evaluation, we’ll develop a personalized roadmap for your recovery. This includes strategies to manage pain, hands-on treatment as needed, guidance on what to avoid or continue, and a customized plan to help you move forward with confidence—without pain, without fear, and without limits.
